I’ve been working since i was 16 years old so i guess i am very familiar with the list below! I found this in a magazine and i think it’s quite interesting to share here.
Fresh graduates will now hunt for jobs in different industries. It is an opportunity to grow and apply all the things that we learn from school. It also means another group of people will add the unemployment rate in our country.

So what must we do in order for us not to be part of the unemployed group? How can we wow the company we wish to work with? Better follow these tips:

Company Research
Research should always be your first step. Gathering background information on employers is a crucial element in successful interview preparation. You will need to be prepared to answer the questions “What do your know about our company”? and “Why do you want to work here?” Knowing as much as possible about the company’s past performance and future plans can make your interview more interactive and could be just the leg up you need in a competitive job market. Before the interview review the company’s web site and don’t be afraid to contact your prospective employer to request details on the position you are interviewing for or to ask for company literature.

Practice Makes Perfect

Practice makes perfect (or at least leads to improvement). Practice with a friend and record or videotape your responses so you can replay the interview and see how well you did. Prepare answers to commonly asked interview questions. Doing so will help you analyze your background and qualifications for the position.

Behavioral Interviews
Behavior based interviewing is becoming more common. It is based on the premise that a candidates past performance is the best predictor of future performance. Rather than the typical interview questions on your background and experience, you will you need to be prepared to provide detailed responses including specific examples of your work experiences.
The best way to prepare is to think of examples where you have successfully used the skills you’ve acquired. Take the time to compile a list of responses to both types of questions and to itemize your skills, values, and interests as well as your strengths and weaknesses. Emphasize what you can do to benefit the company rather than just what you are interested in. Also prepare a list of questions you want to ask the interviewer. Remember, you aren’t simply trying to get the job – you are also interviewing the employer to assess whether this company and the position are a good fit for you.

Prepare For the Interview
It is very important to be on time for the interview. On time means ten to fifteen minutes early. If need be, take some time to drive to the office ahead of time so you know exactly where you are going. Know the interviewer’s name and use it during the interview. If your not sure of the name, call and ask prior to the interview. Remember to bring an extra copy of your resume and a list of references.

Stay Calm
During the interview try to remain as calm as possible. Ask for clarification if you’re not sure what’s been asked and remember that it is perfectly acceptable to take a moment or two to frame your responses so you can be sure too fully answer the question.
End the interview with a thank you to the interviewer and reiterate your interest in the position. Then follow-up with a personal Thank You note restating your interest.

By following the tips above, you’re sure to land to your dream job

i’ve been an old school music lover and one of my favorite artists is no other than Dionne Warwick and one of her greatest hits would be the very notable “I’ll Never Love This Way Again” . Jasmine Trias of American idol Season 3 also performed this song.

There are very few artists in around nowadays that will be able to sing what they sang when they were younger. Why? Because they simply do not have the vocal technique to retain their vocal longevity. Dionne Warwick is an example of that very rare breed of artist. I speak of singers that are BORN….not made!!! Hats off to this lady. A true professional and one of the diamonds in her profession!!!

Enjoy!

Summer is always associated with parties and parties are associated with foods as in heavy foods! It seems that there’s no way to resist it especially those juicy meats that is often serve in summer parties. Porks and Beefs are good. they have the essential nutrients that our body needs but eating too much of meats may also cause trouble and may harm your health. Holy Week, is a great way for me to start my diet and prepare my self for summer because i used to do some fasting, which is our tradition already every holy week. During our fasting period, we used to avoid eating meats like pork and beef. I don’t know where or when this tradition started but as a matter of showing my devotion as a christian i used to follow it. Besides nothing will happen to me if i don’t eat meats within a weak. Even though we are not allowed to eat pork and beef, we can still eat fish meats just like what i ate last Thursday.

This is a very common Filipino Dish. Here in Philippines we used to pair our foods or match them up with some dish. Just like the one i have in the photo. I paired my dish “Pinakbet” a native Ilocano dish, with a fired Tilapia.

If you hate fish, then you must love this veggie dish. It is a fresh Lumpia. A Dish originated in Chinese.

Speaking of Chinese dish, well, this Pancit will suits your taste so well.
That’s all for now, will share more soon!
have a great day and happy blogging!

Have you ever came to a point that you really want to give up because you’re tired dealing with all the unpleasant situations in your life and for the sake of getting rid with them is to surrender. In which you thought that surrendering could be the only answer without knowing that the more we accept this kind of thought, the more exhausted you will become but if you think that you can do everything even more, you will find that there are no limits to what you can do and accomplish.
God Never gets tired of guiding us all the time.

“A dad is someone who
wants to catch you before you fall
but instead picks you up,
brushes you off,
and lets you try again.

A dad is someone who
wants to keep you from making mistakes
but instead lets you find your own way,
even though his heart breaks in silence
when you get hurt.

A dad is someone who
holds you when you cry,
scolds you when you break the rules,
shines with pride when you succeed,
and has faith in you even when you fail…
Happy Fathers Day to my Dad!!!

Again! I got so much trouble Signing-in with my Yahoo Mail this past few days. I was able to reach the page where they ask me to enter my email address and my password as well. However, after filling up those information, the page went back and redirected me to same login page. This is quite frustrating in my part because i am barely relying on my Yahoo mails. I just can’t live a day without peeking out my mails.
I checked my Anti-virus settings to know if this software blocks me out from yahoo mail. I also checked my firewall setting if it is set-up correctly, but the issue still persist.
Luckily, a friend told me to visit a site that will allow me to view my mail without logging in into YahooMail.com. The site is http://us.m.yahoo.com/.
Unlike Yahoo! the navigation of this site is largely different from the usual Yahoo mail. Just click on the link that says “Mail” in the upper right corner of that web page and then it will take you to a page where it will ask you to enter your user information( email address and password)
I was able to sign-in in my account and was able to view my mails. Take Note that Spam Mails or Junk Mails is not visible in this site.

One of the reason why we cannot sign-in with our Yahoo Mail is because of a Browser issue. If you are using Internet Explorer and it doesn’t allow you to sign-in for your Yahoo account, then try another browser like Mozilla Firefox. It is the same procedure if you are using Safari as your browser. Mozilla Firefox is pretty easy to download and it will just took less than 30 minutes to finished the downloading process.
However, If the problem occurred in your Mozilla Firefox, then try to sign in using your alternate browser which is either Internet Explorer or Safari.

If the procedures above didn’t work out and the problem still persist, there is a big possibility that the problem is in Yahoo! and the best option that we have is to contact them and have them resolve this issue for you!

Of all the version of this Song, Cliff Richard’s mash up is my all time favorite next to it’s original version sang by Judy Garland

Glee’s version is also a great one.
