Awareness and Preparedness
Safety is probably one of the most important factors that has to be considered before moving into a new house. Of course, we do not want to risk our lives by choosing an unsecured and unsafe shelter right? Whether you are about to move to a new house or you already owned a house, it is your responsibility to keep your house safe from any danger. This danger may includes burglars, fire accidents, and natural calamities like strong weather conditions and earthquakes. Threat from burglars can be easily prevented by installing security devices like camera and alarms. Fire accidents on the other hand can be prevented through checking the appliances and wires either before you go to bed or before you go out. Weather condition is something that is uncontrollable since they come on the most unexpected time and place. Remember what happen in our country after the Typhoon Ondoy? Many properties were lost and damaged, buildings were destroyed and the worst, many lives has been killed. Awareness and preparedness is probably the best way to prevent such scenario. Well i guess Typhoon Ondoy gave us Filipinos a lesson. And i guess they are all aware now on what to do if ever another super typhoon arrives. Don’t be surprised if you see a lot of steel buildings all over Metro Manila whether commercial or residential. It is said that steel buildings can withstand strong weather conditions and has been widely used by many countries already.
