i’ve been an old school music lover and one of my favorite artists is no other than Dionne Warwick and one of her greatest hits would be the very notable “I’ll Never Love This Way Again” . Jasmine Trias of American idol Season 3 also performed this song.

There are very few artists in around nowadays that will be able to sing what they sang when they were younger. Why? Because they simply do not have the vocal technique to retain their vocal longevity. Dionne Warwick is an example of that very rare breed of artist. I speak of singers that are BORN….not made!!! Hats off to this lady. A true professional and one of the diamonds in her profession!!!

It’s really getting hot here in Philippines so here are some cool Pinoy treats that are perfect to fresh you up this  summer!I gathered all kinds of Pinoy treats! enjoy!

Let’s start with this very colorful Chocolate Shake

This is so perfect for kids. You can decide what kind of toppings your kids love to put.

You can try these “ICE CANDIES“. Probably the cheapest treats of them all.

Usually it only cost P2 and you can see them being sold everywhere especially every summer.

Here’s another FLAVORED MILK  SHAKES i bought from a store near to us.

You can try this at home too! You can use natural fruits to make it more tasteful!

The most popular Filipino Summer Treats is the “HALO-HALO“.

It is a popular Filipino dessert that is a mixture of shaved ice and milk to which are added various boiled sweet beans and fruits, and served cold in a tall glass or bow

Topped with “leche plan and Ube!

You can also try this “DIRTY ICE CREAM or what so-called SORBETES” Okay it’s not what you think!

Sorbetes is a Filipino version for common ice cream usually peddled from carts that roam streets in the Philippines. This should not be confused with the known sorbet. It is also commonly called ‘dirty ice cream’ because it is sold along the streets exposing it to pollution and that the factory where it comes from is usually unknown; though it is not really “dirty” as the name implies. It is usually served with small wafer or sugar cones and recently, bread buns.

Well, if none of the above is available near your place, you can just try making FRUIT JUICES.

So simple yet refreshing still

Oh by the way since i have mentioned “halo Halo already, i can say that one of the best Halo halo store is “Chow king” My brother and i went there last Sunday and it’s the best!

I am so grateful to receive a package from a blogger friend of mine ~ FoongPc. I never really expect this gift at first  because i failed to win Foong’s contest at that time and then he sent a message to me via facebook asking for my mailing address. he told me that he would like to send me a package, a gift that he got from his Bali Indonesia trip. 

And then, early this morning, i got his package!

Oh i must say that Foong has a good hand writing..

Okay, at first, as i un-wrapped the package, i thought Foong sent me this cute little music card game. I said to myself that Foong really knew me and he knew how i love music and so he sent me this music card game..

As i open the box, i saw this card where there’s a message from foong stating that “No this is not a music card game” haha

Since i’m starting to find this music card game interesting, I even read the manual to find out how the game works.. Maybe i’ll buy something like this soon.

Anyway, at the back of the card is a note from Foong.  Okay so let see what i have inside my Package

A soap from Bali! It really smells good.

Together with the Bali Soap is this little bottle that contains “Frangipani Oil”. For those who are not familiar with Frangipani.. It is actually a flower that is pinkish in color and almost resembles as an orchid.

but wait! there’s more. I also got this Bali souvenir magnet. I’ll add this to my collection.

To sum it all here’s are the souvenirs i got from foong..^_^

The World of Rising Force Online is pretty bleak, which get you in the mood of war; and war is what this game is all about. Environments are different according to which race you choose. You can pick from 3 different races; Bellato, Accetia, and Cora! Skills effects are awesome, and animations are very fluid.

This game is basically about supremacy of the races. When you begin, you choose which race you want to join, and you dpend your entire game trying to bring the other races down! The game is also unique in MMORPGs because it takes more than just killing to level up. You have to master specific skills to become stronger. This provides a challenge even for experienced gamers.

Sound is very basic.There’s an overall theme to most maps, but the music tends to be repetitive. It would be better to just turn the in-game background music off and play your own mp3 soundtrack instead.

This game has so much to offer, you’ll find it hard to stop playing! The Chp Wars alone, a thrice-daily event which pits races against each other, are not to be missed. Players are awarded Contribution Points for completing game objectives, and the player in a race with the highest ontribution points is named race Archon.  Aiming for Archonship alone will keep you awake for many nights, beleive me!

With an intesnse setting, fully customizable characters, a complex economy, and a massive stage for battle between players, thisis a sure hit for both new and veteran MMORPG players alike!
