Mom’s Tamales

Posted By on February 20, 2011

Remember my mom’s small Tamales business? I am so happy to tell you guys that it is doing pretty good. In fact, we just received a new set of orders yesterday. I am so happy for my mom and we never thought that this business will grow like this. Mom is planning to make this business more formal. It seems that she wanted to get more serious about it. She is really good in making tamales. For those who don’t know what tamales is, it is actually a dish originated in Mexico which is originally known as tamal. However, mom’s tamales has a filipino touch in it. It is sweet and tastes like peanut butter. The main ingredients of it are grated peanuts and grained rice. It tastes a little bit spicy too.

It all started last Christmas when mom decided to received some made to order Tamales. Tamales by the way is one of the traditional Christmas Eve dishes. I love to spread plenty amount of it on my bread and match it up with hot choco. Anyway, since my mom is getting a little bit serious about it, i am thinking of making a website for it. It would be great if she will introduce her special dish online. Who knows? Mom will be able to attract a lot of online customers. Well that’s not impossible right? If that would happen, then i better start looking for a business intelligence software to help her out managing her business. Go for the gold mom! Woohoo!
